IMI Global Graduate Development
To contribute to our future, we want our graduates to understand the breadth and complexity of our business, and to have the skills to step in where they are needed. Which means that since we operate globally, and in many different areas, you'll do the same.
Whatever your degree, we aim to send you on four different placements, in at least three different countries, and in at least three different disciplines. All of which are designed to give you a wide range of integrated, high level skills across disciplines.
You will be working in real business environments, on real projects with real responsibility. You will be provided with a suite of development activities designed to enhance your tailor-made training programme. This will include language training, product appreciation, community projects, relevant professional qualifications (eg CEng, CIMA, CIM) and management skills workshops leading to a university qualification.
We'll be investing a great deal of time, money and faith in "launching your potential", and so our expectations are extremely high. This is a hugely rewarding and demanding opportunity which requires commitment, drive, passion, ambition and flexibility plus the following as a minimum:
• Good written or spoken English and, ideally, one other language
• A good degree and the desire to pursue on-going professional development.
• Relevant work experience
• Hunger for a global career
Other qualities we will test for in both interview and assessment centre include your:
• customer focus
• impact and confidence
• influencing ability
• problem analysis and decision making
• conceptual thinking
• people leadership and development
• achievement orientation.
It's a tough process but, for exceptional candidates, it leads to an outstanding career.
