Exploring IMI before you join
This opportunity is open to current undergraduates and offers short-term assignments to talented individuals. Every assignment offers good rewards, excellent work experience on real live projects, and a unique insight into the activities of our group. If you match our expectations you could also secure a position when you graduate – and sponsorship until you do! We recruit undergraduates throughout the year in the same disciplines as our global graduate development.
To allow for international differences in terms/semesters and course structure, a number of options are available:
UK undergraduates
Assignments will normally take place in the summer immediately before the final year of study, and typically last for 8 – 12 weeks. Your assignment may be in the UK, Spain, Germany or Belgium (though other countries might be possible according to language abilities).
European (except UK) undergraduates
These assignments could be anywhere in Europe, are normally for four to six months and are offered as Diploma Thesis Placements.
US and Asia-Pacific undergraduates
We will discuss final year internships and locations on an individual basis.
